You are well-versed in modern development practices and have a strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that security is integrated at every stage of the software development lifecycle. Your expertise in IAM, network segmentation, and data protection strategies allows you to define robust cloud-native security controls that protect sensitive information. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with development and DevOps teams to implement secure coding practices and conduct threat modeling. You are passionate about establishing security architecture frameworks and standards that guide teams in building secure applications and infrastructure. You are a proactive problem solver, capable of assessing existing applications and APIs for architectural weaknesses and guiding teams on secure refactoring. You are committed to fostering a culture of security within the organization, advocating for 'security as code' practices that enhance overall security posture.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the senior technical authority on secure cloud and application architecture within the Information Security team. You will participate in the design and governance of secure architectures across various cloud environments, ensuring that security is a fundamental aspect of product and platform design. You will partner with development and DevOps teams to implement secure coding practices and integrate security automation throughout the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include assessing existing applications, APIs, and microservices for architectural weaknesses, and providing guidance on secure refactoring. You will define and implement cloud-native security controls, focusing on IAM, network segmentation, key management, and data protection strategies. Additionally, you will work with engineering leadership to embed security as a core principle in all development processes, ensuring that security considerations are prioritized from the outset. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining security architecture frameworks, patterns, and standards for both infrastructure and application layers, contributing to a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization.
