Who you are

You are a motivated individual eager to join Amazon's AWS team as a Data Center Technician. You possess a foundational understanding of hardware and network diagnostics, and you are ready to engage in physical repairs to maintain the integrity of data center operations. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists to ensure the highest standards of safety and security. You are comfortable participating in an on-call rotation, ready to respond to challenges as they arise. You value inclusivity and are excited to contribute bold ideas that enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS's global cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure seamless data center operations. You will collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers, to tackle complex challenges impacting the supply chain. You will be instrumental in supporting all AWS data centers, ensuring that servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment function optimally. Your work will directly contribute to providing customers with continual access to the innovative services they rely on. You will also engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career within the AWS infrastructure team.
