Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong focus on maintaining and improving distributed systems. Your expertise in Node.js allows you to build and refine internal testing and validation systems effectively. You understand the importance of reliability and performance in high-load environments, and you have a knack for troubleshooting complex issues that arise in real-time testing scenarios.

Your background includes working with monitoring and alerting systems, ensuring that test runs remain stable and easy to interpret when problems occur. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA engineers, to enhance the overall testing infrastructure. You thrive in environments where you can improve tooling and make test environments easier to operate and debug.

Desirable

Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines would be a plus, as would familiarity with various testing frameworks and methodologies. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and enjoy implementing solutions that enhance system reliability and performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of Binance's distributed test environment, which supports web, API, and Android testing. You will work closely with engineering teams to build and refine internal monitoring and alerting systems, ensuring that high-load, real-time test runs are stable and easy to understand. Your role will involve improving how failures are tracked, measuring system health, and responding to issues across different components of the test stack.

You will also collaborate with other engineers to enhance the overall testing infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the needs of the organization as it scales. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing processes, allowing for quicker iterations and higher quality releases.
