Role Overview
We are seeking a Treasury Operations Specialist to join our growing registered investment advisor, RHO Treasury. This is a hands-on, technical role at the intersection of treasury management, financial operations, compliance and systems automation within a regulated RIA environment.
You will own the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of treasury processes, including cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, trade execution and settlement, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting — all while looking for opportunities to automate tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Execute daily treasury operations: cash positioning, funding, sweeps, investments in money-market funds, T-bills, mutual funds and other instruments in compliance with client investment guidelines.
Build and maintain automated reconciliation workflows.
Monitor and reconcile all cash movements; investigate and resolve discrepancies on the same day.
Support trade lifecycle: allocation, confirmation, settlement (Fedwire, ACH, book-entry), and fail management.
Own onboarding and KYC/AML to make the client experience seamless.
Develop and maintain SOPs and controls to scale operations.
Partner with Engineering, Compliance, and Product teams to design and implement new treasury features and integrations.
Participate in internal and external audits; act as subject-matter expert on treasury operations for SEC examinations.
Required Qualifications
3–7 years of treasury operations, fund administration, or middle/back-office experience at an RIA, hedge fund, asset manager, custodian bank, or fintech treasury platform.
Deep understanding of U.S. money markets, operations, Fedwire/ACH mechanics, and SEC-registered investment adviser regulations.
Demonstrated ability to reconcile complex cash and position data with zero tolerance for errors.
Exceptional attention to detail and process discipline in a regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience at an SEC-registered RIA or clearing firm.
Familiarity with money-market funds (2a-7), separately managed accounts (SMAs), or corporate cash management programs.
Series 65 or willingness to obtain within 90 days (company-sponsored).
Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $132,000. Base salary encompasses multiple levels and may vary depending on location, relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
