Vacasa is hiring a Property Caretaker to manage vacation rental properties, focusing on maintenance and guest relations. This entry-level role is based in Sugar Mountain, North Carolina.
You are a dedicated individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment. You have a strong sense of responsibility and take pride in maintaining properties to high standards. You are comfortable with light maintenance tasks and have excellent communication skills to interact with guests and homeowners effectively. You understand the importance of creating exceptional experiences for guests and are eager to contribute to a positive team culture. You are at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license, ensuring you can travel to various properties as needed.
As a Property Caretaker, you will support an assigned portfolio of vacation rental properties, assisting in daily operations and ensuring that each property meets the company's high standards. You will perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing door hinges, and unclogging toilets, ensuring that properties are in excellent condition for guests. You will also conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and assist managers in enhancing processes to drive efficiency and quality outcomes. Responding to escalated guest and homeowner concerns will be a key part of your role, requiring you to handle communications via emails, calls, and tickets. You will work cross-functionally with the team to ensure a seamless experience for both guests and homeowners.
Vacasa offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $19, depending on your skills and experience. Additionally, eligible employees may receive a car allowance of up to $100 per month.
