Codat is seeking a Staff/Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of a scalable data platform that transforms raw data into actionable business insights. You'll work with technologies like AWS, Apache, and Python. This role requires strong experience in data engineering and architectural decision-making.
You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of building scalable data platforms that deliver actionable insights. Your expertise in AWS and Apache technologies allows you to architect solutions that meet complex business needs. You are proficient in Python and SQL, enabling you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, where you can lead technical discussions and drive architectural decisions that enhance the technology stack. You are motivated by solving user problems and creating real business impact, focusing on delivering value to customers. You embrace challenges and provide clarity in ambiguity, leading your team to success through a shared vision.
Experience with data synchronization and interpretation from financial software is a plus, as is familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes. You are comfortable working in a startup-like environment and are eager to innovate and improve existing systems. A background in fintech or banking can be beneficial, as it aligns with Codat's mission to empower financial institutions.
In this role, you will own the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to final delivery.
