SpaceX is seeking a Lead Hardware Reliability Engineer for the Starlink project to develop and implement testing strategies for complex RF ground station antennas. You'll collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure high-quality hardware standards.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in hardware reliability engineering, specifically in testing and validating complex systems. Your background includes a strong understanding of RF technologies and the ability to identify and mitigate production failure modes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with design engineers to enhance product quality and reliability. Your expertise in hardware testing methodologies ensures that all components meet the highest standards before deployment. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills, allowing you to tackle challenges effectively. You are passionate about advancing technology and contributing to projects that have a significant impact on global connectivity.

Desirable

Experience with satellite communication systems or similar technologies is a plus. Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards in hardware manufacturing will set you apart. A background in project management or team leadership is beneficial, as you will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers.

What you'll do

As the Lead Hardware Reliability Engineer for Starlink, you will oversee the development and execution of rigorous testing protocols for RF ground station antennas. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential failure modes in the production process and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
