Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead security operations for their Cloud initiatives in Guam. You'll manage multi-stakeholder programs, implement security protocols, and work with intelligence services. This role requires extensive experience in security management and program management.
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in managing multi-stakeholder programs and projects. Your background includes 7 years in security management, specifically in critical infrastructure protection, risk assessment, and actionable threat analysis. You are familiar with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST, and you possess knowledge of cybersecurity threats and security certifications like CISSP and CISM. Your ability to implement and develop security protocols, procedures, and training programs is well-established, and you are comfortable traveling up to 20% of the time.
You thrive in environments where you can leverage your technical expertise to lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You are adept at working with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across the company. You can articulate complex analyses and recommendations to executives while also discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers.
Experience with intelligence services or telecom security, particularly regarding submarine cables, is a plus. Your familiarity with security frameworks and certifications enhances your profile, making you a strong candidate for this role.
As the Regional Security Operations Lead, you will oversee security investigations and incident response, supporting the development of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS). You will track program performance for continuous improvement and serve as the primary liaison with law enforcement and intelligence agencies, communicating threats to stakeholders. Your role will involve delivering security awareness training and developing procedures to mitigate identified threats.
You will lead the implementation of security protocols and procedures, ensuring that all security measures are effective and up to date. Your responsibilities will include managing the security operations team, coordinating with various departments to ensure compliance with security standards, and fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.
