If you’re ready to do the most ambitious work of your career, join us.

Attributes We Value

We hire successful builders with founder-like energy who want real impact, accelerated learning, and true ownership. You bring strong role-related expertise and sharp thinking, and you’re motivated by our mission and operating principles. You move fast with good judgment, dig deep with curiosity, and make decisions from first principles, balancing speed and rigor.

You're humble and collaborative; turn zero‑to‑one ideas into real products, and you “get stuff done” end-to-end. You use AI to work smarter and solve problems faster. Here, you’ll tackle complex, high‑visibility problems with exceptional teammates and grow your career as we build the future of global banking. If that sounds like you, let’s build what’s next.

What You'll Do

As a Corporate Legal Paralegal, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Corporate Legal team and the broader regulatory compliance and licensing team. You will be instrumental in ensuring Airwallex’s ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, supporting licensing applications, and maintaining robust legal documentation and knowledge management systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate with legal, compliance, and business teams to help Airwallex scale globally. This role is based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Corporate Legal team.

  • Review and draft various agreements (including NDA and vendor contracts), legal documents, compliance manuals, policies, and procedures.

  • Assist the Corporate Legal team in M&A matters.

  • Handle internal IP matters and coordinate with external counsel.

  • Handle KYC and due diligence requests from third parties.

  • Assist in company secretarial matters when required.

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance functions on regulatory inquiries.

  • Manage document filings, maintain the legal document database, and support knowledge management initiatives.

  • Prepare and arrange for agreement/document execution.

  • Handle legal operations and manage workflows.

  • Assist the litigation team in handling APAC contentious matters.

  • Assist in Airwallex Group’s licensing applications.

  • Conduct legal and regulatory research as required.

Who You Are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Degree holder, preferably with a law degree or a diploma in legal studies or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a corporate paralegal, ideally with law firms or financial institutions.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task effectively.

  • Proactive, pleasant, and a team player with strong communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in M&A, IPO and other corporate matters in law firms.

  • Experience supporting licensing applications and regulatory compliance in the financial services or fintech sector.

  • Familiarity with corporate filings, finance documentation, and regulatory research.

  • Experience with legal technology tools and contract management systems.

  • Knowledge of Hong Kong and/or Singapore regulatory environments.

  • Proficiency in adapting to new tools, processes, and legal updates within a dynamic environment.

Applicant Safety Policy: Fraud and Third-Party Recruiters

To protect you from recruitment scams, please be aware that Airwallex will not ask for bank details, sensitive ID numbers (i.e. passport), or any form of payment during the application or interview process. All official communication will come from an @airwallex.com email address. Please apply only through careers.airwallex.com or our official LinkedIn page.
