What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Payments Engineering team, you will design and build distributed systems that support secure, high-volume payment and gifting experiences worldwide. Your role will involve collaborating with Apple's engineering, design, and product teams to deliver exceptional software that seamlessly integrates into the Apple ecosystem. You will own the full product lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to deployment, observability, and on-call operations. Your contributions will ensure that transactions are processed reliably and efficiently, enhancing the user experience across Apple's platforms.

You will also participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly will be essential as you work with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
