GetYourGuide is hiring an Account Executive (Spanish Speaker) to strengthen their Sales Team in Barcelona. You'll focus on acquiring and managing suppliers in Spain and Portugal, driving growth in the travel experience industry. This role requires strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.

Who you are

You are a driven and resilient professional with experience in sales, particularly in the travel or hospitality industry. You have a proven track record of building and managing a high-performing sales pipeline, and you thrive in environments where you can negotiate optimal terms and drive supplier acquisition. Your ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is essential, as you will be working closely with suppliers in Spain and Portugal. You understand the importance of aligning supplier acquisition with broader business goals and are committed to ensuring sustainable growth for the company.

Desirable

Experience in the travel industry or with tour and experience providers is a plus. You are comfortable representing your company at industry events and have a knack for establishing credibility and building strong relationships with suppliers. Your adaptability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time will enable you to connect with potential partners effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in GetYourGuide's growth by identifying and onboarding new suppliers, primarily focusing on tour and experience providers as well as attractions. You will effectively manage the entire sales funnel, which includes outreach, negotiation, closing, and onboarding, to consistently hit and exceed your sales quota. Collaboration with internal teams will be crucial to align supplier acquisition efforts with the company's broader business objectives. You will also represent GetYourGuide at relevant industry events, driving acquisition and establishing credibility in the market.
