You have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, particularly in financial systems, where you've built and maintained data pipelines that ensure data integrity and accuracy. Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to create robust data models that support complex financial reporting and analysis. You understand the importance of collaboration, having worked cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and sales teams to deliver data solutions that meet their needs. You are detail-oriented and have a strong grasp of data quality issues, ensuring that discrepancies are identified and resolved before they impact financial audits. You are comfortable with data warehousing concepts and have experience designing automated reconciliation processes that streamline operations. You are passionate about making programming accessible and enjoy working in a collaborative environment that values diverse perspectives.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with tools like Airflow for orchestrating data workflows. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards will help you navigate the complexities of financial data management. What you'll do

In this role, you will own the financial data domain end-to-end, building unified data models for payments and subscriptions across various revenue streams, including Stripe and app stores. You will design and implement automated reconciliation pipelines that surface payment discrepancies and ensure data quality. Your work will enable accurate monthly recurring revenue (MRR) analysis and financial reporting, which are critical as Replit scales. You will collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable data solutions. Additionally, you will participate in audits and ensure that all financial data processes comply with relevant regulations. As part of the data team, you will contribute to the overall strategy for data management and help shape the future of how Replit utilizes data to drive business decisions.
