Samsara is hiring an Enterprise Core Account Executive for the Public Sector to drive revenue growth in strategic accounts. You'll develop executive-level relationships and manage customer engagements end-to-end. This role is fully remote within the United States.
You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the public sector, and possess the ability to develop executive-level relationships with strategic accounts. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes from prospecting to closing, demonstrating a solution-based sales approach that aligns with customer needs. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable engaging with clients across various sectors, including agriculture, construction, and transportation.
You understand the importance of harnessing IoT data to drive actionable insights and improve operational efficiency. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels ensures that you can champion Samsara's innovative solutions. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry, always keeping the customer’s best interests at the forefront of your strategy.
Experience in the IoT space or familiarity with connected operations would be advantageous. A background in technology sales, particularly in sectors that rely heavily on physical operations, will help you excel in this role. You are a self-starter who is motivated by results and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by engaging with new and existing customers in the public sector. You will develop and maintain executive-level relationships within strategic accounts, ensuring that you understand their unique challenges and how Samsara's solutions can address them. You will own the customer engagement process from prospecting and qualification through to closing deals, demonstrating a strong solution-based sales process throughout complex sales campaigns.
You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that solutions are tailored to their specific requirements. Your role will involve championing Samsara's product offerings, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, and Equipment Monitoring, to help customers digitally transform their operations.
You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, using this knowledge to inform your sales strategy and approach. Regularly reporting on sales activities and outcomes will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that you meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the enterprise sales team.
