Overview

Tide is seeking a Senior Product Manager to optimize the onboarding journey for small businesses. You'll focus on enhancing product experiences and driving user engagement. This role requires strong product management skills and experience in user acquisition.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the fintech or banking sector — you understand the unique challenges faced by small businesses and have a track record of driving user engagement through tailored product experiences. Your analytical mindset allows you to make data-driven decisions that enhance user onboarding and retention. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, marketing, and design teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can navigate complex stakeholder environments to prioritize initiatives effectively. You have a passion for understanding user needs and translating them into actionable product strategies that deliver value. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a mission-driven company that champions diversity and innovation.

Desirable

Experience with user acquisition strategies and onboarding processes is a plus — you have successfully led initiatives that improved user activation and retention rates. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Asana will help you manage product backlogs and sprints efficiently. A background in data analytics or experience with tools like Google Analytics can enhance your ability to track product performance and user behavior.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Manager at Tide, you will take ownership of the post-onboarding vertical, focusing on optimizing the first 30 days of the user journey. You will collaborate with the Member Accession Marketing team to design best-in-class onboarding experiences that convert new users into active members. Your role will involve defining success metrics, conducting user research, and analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement. You will work closely with engineering teams to prioritize feature development and ensure timely delivery of enhancements. You will also engage with marketing to align product messaging and support acquisition campaigns. Your insights will drive the roadmap for product improvements, ensuring that each member's journey is tailored to their specific needs. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of experimentation, encouraging the team to test new ideas and iterate based on user feedback.
