Overview

Google is seeking a Staff UX Designer for the TPU Ecosystem team to create intuitive user experiences. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize your design skills to craft user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. This role requires 8+ years of experience in product design or UX.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in product design or UX. Your portfolio showcases your ability to create user flows, wireframes, and UI mockups, demonstrating your expertise in crafting intuitive user experiences. You have experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process, ensuring that your designs are both user-focused and technically viable. You understand the importance of gathering insights about user attitudes, emotions, and behaviors to inform your design decisions. You are comfortable providing and receiving constructive feedback, maintaining quality and coherence across product ideation, user research, and final execution. You are passionate about embracing new UX techniques and best practices while balancing speed and craft in your design concepts.

Desirable

A Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Experience with advanced UX techniques and a strong understanding of interaction design principles will set you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to innovative design strategies that enhance user experiences.

What you'll do

In this role, you will envision how users will experience Google's products and bring that vision to life through your designs. You will create user flows and wireframes that guide users through complex tasks, making them intuitive and easy to use. Your work will involve building UI mockups and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to ensure that your designs are feasible and align with technical capabilities.
