Esri is seeking a Data Scientist specializing in GeoAI to develop deep learning models for geospatial analysis. You'll work with Python and PyTorch to create tools and APIs that leverage GIS data. This role requires experience in machine learning and a passion for geospatial datasets.

Who you are

You have a strong background in data science, particularly in applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve complex problems. Your experience includes developing models for geospatial analysis, and you are familiar with geographic information systems (GIS). You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch. You understand the nuances of working with spatial data and are excited about the potential of AI in this field.

You are detail-oriented and have a knack for curating and processing data to ensure it is ready for model training. You enjoy collaborating with geospatial analysts and data scientists, helping them leverage the latest advancements in AI and deep learning. Your passion for maps and geospatial datasets drives you to innovate and improve existing processes.

Desirable

Experience with remote sensing data and familiarity with various modalities of GIS data, including satellite imagery, is a plus. You may also have knowledge of other deep learning frameworks and tools that complement your work in geospatial AI.

What you'll do

As a Data Scientist at Esri, you will develop tools and APIs that integrate ArcGIS with popular deep learning libraries. Your primary focus will be on creating foundation models for computer vision and multimodal data, enabling geospatial analysts to derive insights from complex datasets.
