Overview

Amazon is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager for its Private Brands business to drive quality excellence across various consumable product categories. You'll optimize supplier quality management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Who you are

You have a strong background in quality management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing excellence. You are analytical and data-driven, with a knack for identifying quality trends and implementing preventive measures. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Development and Sourcing, to achieve quality goals. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering scalable results that enhance customer satisfaction.

Desirable

Experience in the consumable products sector, particularly in Health Care, Personal Care, or Nutrition & Wellness, is a plus. Familiarity with industry safety and regulatory requirements will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable coaching suppliers to improve their quality management systems and manufacturing processes, ensuring that they meet Amazon's high standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products continuously comply with Amazon's quality, performance, and reliability standards. You will drive manufacturing excellence by utilizing data-driven approaches to identify quality trends and predict potential issues. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing preventive measures across supplier networks to enhance product quality. You will manage and coach suppliers, helping them improve their quality management systems and manufacturing processes, ultimately leading to increased customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate closely with Product Development and Sourcing teams to design and implement scalable Quality Assurance solutions. Your role will involve optimizing the global supplier quality management program, ensuring that it aligns with Amazon's objectives and industry best practices. You will also be tasked with analyzing data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
