NeoTaste is seeking a Marketing Data Scientist to build a marketing measurement and optimization engine. You'll work with SQL, Google Analytics, and Python to turn complex data into actionable insights. This role requires experience in marketing analytics and data integration.
You have a strong background in data science with a focus on marketing analytics — you understand how to build models that accurately measure marketing performance and optimize budget allocation. You are proficient in SQL and have experience with tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, enabling you to integrate and analyze data from various sources effectively. Your skills in Python or R allow you to manipulate data and create decision-grade insights that drive marketing strategies. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with marketing, product, and engineering teams to enhance tracking architecture and event schemas. You are detail-oriented and can establish clear measurement standards for key performance indicators such as CAC and LTV. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to the growth of a dynamic company.
Experience with marketing mix modeling and incrementality estimation is a plus. Familiarity with CRM systems and app analytics will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable communicating complex data insights to stakeholders and can translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
In this role, you will build NeoTaste’s marketing measurement and optimization engine, which is crucial for understanding the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. You will design and continuously improve the Marketing Mix Model (MMM) to support budget allocation and incrementality estimation. Your work will involve integrating and reconciling data from multiple sources, including MMPs, ad platforms, and CRM systems, to create a comprehensive view of marketing performance. You will identify high-signal product events that predict conversion and retention, translating these insights into actionable marketing levers. You will partner closely with the marketing and product teams to enhance tracking architecture and ensure accurate data collection. Your insights will directly influence budget decisions, helping the company allocate resources effectively across channels and campaigns.
