You have a proven track record in sales and account management, ideally with experience in the grocery or retail industry. Your ability to build and nurture relationships is exceptional, allowing you to effectively engage with retail partners and understand their needs. You are skilled in negotiation and can drive critical agreements that benefit both Instacart and its partners. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. Your analytical mindset helps you assess market trends and identify opportunities for growth, ensuring that you contribute to the overall success of the company. You are adaptable and embrace a flexible work environment, understanding that the best work can happen from various locations.

Desirable

Experience in the grocery or e-commerce sector would be a plus, as would familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes. A background in business development or strategic partnerships can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive at Instacart, you will be the primary relationship holder with our retail partners. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include nurturing relationships, negotiating critical agreements, and driving strategic partnerships that fuel mutual growth. You will engage in work that amplifies our overarching business goals, demonstrating a keen understanding of Instacart’s strategic position and trajectory. You will collaborate closely with the Retail Business Development team, contributing to initiatives that enhance our service offerings and improve partner satisfaction. Your role will involve regular communication with partners to ensure their needs are met and to identify new opportunities for collaboration. You will also analyze market trends and partner performance to inform your strategies and decisions. Your contributions will be vital in helping Instacart maintain its position as a leader in the grocery delivery space.

What we offer

For Canadian-based candidates, the base pay ranges from CAN $185,000 to $205,000 CAD, and this role is eligible for a new hire equity grant as well as annual refresh grants.
