We are looking for a talented attorney to support our evolving digital businesses which include devices and services (Echo and Alexa, Fire TV, Kindle eReaders, Fire Tablets, apps) and Books. Key job responsibilities
- Supporting the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters;
- Structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions; an
- Providing day-to-day advice in a wide range of legal areas, including digital media, consumer products, marketing, commercial contracts, privacy and regulatory compliance.- License to practice law in Brazil
- 5-10 years of legal practice experience
- Fluent in Portuguese and English- High degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness but also desire to be challenged and think outside the box
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated proficiency in working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization
- A team player and consensus builder with great people skills who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business clients at all levels throughout the organization
- Outstanding legal and business judgment especially in ambiguous situations
- Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity
