About the Role:
We are seeking a Head of Data Science & Analytics to lead and elevate our data function at Heetch. This role blends technical expertise with strategic influence, ensuring that data is at the heart of every product and business decision.
You will oversee a high-performing team of data scientists and product analysts, focusing on maximising impact, driving experimentation, and fostering continuous growth. You will empower and up skill existing talent, helping them expand their capabilities and ownership.
What You’ll Do:
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor, coach, and develop data scientists and analysts to reach their full potential
- Create growth opportunities within the team, ensuring they take on new challenges and expand their expertise
- Foster a culture of analytical excellence, curiosity, and ownership
Data Strategy & Execution
- Define and drive the data science & analytics roadmap, aligning with business and product priorities
- Balance predictive modelling, experimentation, and deep analytics to unlock strategic opportunities
- Ensure best practices in data governance, quality, and scalability
Experimentation & Decision Science
- Scale A/B testing and causal inference frameworks to support data-driven product iteration
- Develop methodologies to measure impact and optimise key metrics
- Partner with PMs, engineers, and leadership to ensure data is a central part of decision-making
Product & Business Impact
- Leverage data storytelling and advanced analytics to influence strategic decisions
- Bridge data science and product analytics, ensuring teams have the right tools and insights to move fast
- Advocate for a data-driven culture, helping teams translate insights into action

About You:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics or a related field, with 3+ years of leadership experience
- Proven ability to recruit, develop and mentor high-performing teams
- Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and statistical modelling, with experience in production-grade data science
- Strong background in experimentation, A/B testing, and causal inference
- Ability to translate complex data insights into business actions

- Experience in mobility, marketplace, or consumer tech industries
- Familiarity with ML in production and real-time analytics
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (BigQuery, Dataform, Vertex, Amplitude, etc.)
