Who you are

You have a strong background in technical program management, particularly in the hardware or silicon domain. With at least 5 years of experience, you've successfully led cross-functional teams through complex product development cycles, ensuring that all milestones are met and that communication flows seamlessly between stakeholders. You are adept at defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive project success, and you understand the intricacies of the product development process (PDP). Your ability to create clear, user-friendly documentation helps guide teams and share best practices effectively. You are a proactive problem solver who can identify potential roadblocks early and escalate issues to executive management when necessary.

Desirable

Experience in edge machine learning technologies or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies will help you optimize processes and enhance team efficiency. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on project goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the development and deployment of silicon solutions within the Amazon Devices organization. You will collaborate with various teams to define clear hand-off and milestone metrics, ensuring that all parties are aligned throughout the product development process. Your responsibilities will include planning and tracking execution across software and silicon development teams, working backwards from the required launch KPIs. You will also contribute to the Product Development Process (PDP) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of silicon solutions development. You will create and maintain process documentation that is accessible and useful for all team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices. Your role will require you to engage with cross-functional leaders to ensure timely involvement in critical decisions and to drive successful launches of silicon solutions.
