Plume is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to manage and enhance their service delivery platform for smart homes and businesses. This role involves overseeing the reliability of systems and ensuring optimal performance. Experience in SRE practices is essential.
You have a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering, with experience managing large-scale systems and ensuring their reliability and performance. You understand the importance of monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning in maintaining service quality. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in system reliability and performance optimization. Your experience includes working with cloud-based infrastructures and you are familiar with the tools and technologies that support SRE practices. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges and improving system resilience. You have a passion for technology and a desire to innovate in the field of service delivery.
In this role, you will lead the Site Reliability Engineering team at Plume, focusing on the reliability and performance of our service delivery platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing SRE practices that enhance system reliability and reduce downtime. You will work closely with engineering teams to design and maintain scalable systems, ensuring they meet the demands of our growing customer base. Your role will involve monitoring system performance, responding to incidents, and conducting post-mortem analyses to prevent future issues. You will also be involved in capacity planning and resource management to ensure optimal system performance. Collaboration with product and engineering teams will be key to aligning reliability goals with product development. You will mentor and guide junior SRE team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
