Apple is hiring a Manufacturing Quality Engineer (MQE) to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes. You'll collaborate with teams to develop innovative quality inspection tools and ensure high standards in production. This role requires experience in quality engineering and a strong understanding of manufacturing methods.
You have a background in quality engineering, ideally with experience in manufacturing processes and product development. You understand the importance of quality in the production of high-tech products and are passionate about ensuring that every product meets Apple's high standards. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including tooling and functional groups, to evaluate designs and processes from the concept phase. You have a keen eye for detail and are adept at developing measurement technologies and control strategies that align with ambitious specifications. Your analytical skills allow you to compile and evaluate data effectively, determining appropriate limits and variables for process and part specifications. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to balancing quality with scalable yields.
Experience working in a global company and familiarity with international manufacturing standards would be advantageous. A background in developing quality inspection tools and methodologies is a plus, as is knowledge of cosmetic and dimensional part characteristics.
