Senior Manager, National Health and Safety

Who you are

You have extensive experience in health and safety management, ideally with a focus on workplace safety initiatives. Your background includes leading teams and managing compliance with occupational health and safety standards. You are skilled in risk identification and mitigation, and you have a proven track record of developing safety programs that inspire change and promote a safety-first culture. You are comfortable collaborating with both local and global stakeholders to share best practices and drive continuous improvement in safety processes. Your ability to influence and lead a diverse team of indirect reports is a key strength, and you are adept at communicating effectively across various levels of an organization.

Desirable

Experience in the food industry or related sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with specific safety regulations and standards applicable to distribution centers. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities for improvement and are committed to advocating for workplace safety enhancements. Your flexible schedule and willingness to travel are essential for this role, allowing you to engage with multiple locations and stakeholders effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of Health and Safety Specialists, ensuring compliance with OHS and related safety standards across all HelloFresh Distribution Centers. You will develop and implement a national health and safety program that aligns with the company's goals and values. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with site leadership to identify risks and manage safety initiatives, as well as advocating for a culture of safety throughout the organization. You will work closely with global stakeholders to define best practices and identify process gaps, ensuring that safety improvements are communicated and implemented effectively. Additionally, you will organize project post-mortems to identify critical areas for process improvements and drive continuous enhancement of safety methodologies and tools.
