Rubrik is hiring a Sales Engineer in Madrid to provide technical direction and business guidance to the sales team. You'll work with AWS and Azure to position Rubrik’s Data Resilience tools effectively. This role requires strong technical expertise and sales acumen.
You have a strong background in sales engineering, ideally with experience in cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure. You are personable and can effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your ability to uncover customer problems through strong discovery skills sets you apart, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you partner closely with Account Executives and customers. You are driven by results and have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas through innovative technical programs and customer demonstrations.
Experience with data resilience, observability, and remediation tools is a plus. Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions and a passion for protecting data will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are comfortable with storytelling and can position complex solutions in a compelling way that resonates with customers.
As a Sales Engineer at Rubrik, you will provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions. You will assist the regional sales team by driving pipeline generation alongside Account Executives, conducting customer demonstrations, and overseeing day-to-day account-level activities. Your role will involve evangelizing Rubrik’s solutions to a targeted list of new and existing customers, ensuring they understand the value and capabilities of our offerings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative technical programs that align with customer needs and market demands.
You will also be responsible for conducting proof of concepts (POCs) and ensuring that customers have a seamless experience with our products. Your technical expertise will be crucial in addressing customer inquiries and providing solutions that meet their specific requirements. You will play a key role in shaping the technical narrative around Rubrik’s products and will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
