Coupang is hiring an Associate III in HR Coordination to support HR operations and enhance employee experience. This role requires fluency in Japanese and basic English, along with experience in administrative tasks.
You are fluent in Japanese and possess conversational English skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with employees and managers. You have at least one year of practical experience in administrative roles, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment. Your passion lies in improving HR processes and providing excellent workplace experiences for employees. You are detail-oriented and capable of managing various HR tasks, from onboarding to employee inquiries. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to support your team in achieving HR goals. You understand the importance of compliance with labor laws and internal policies, ensuring that all HR activities align with these standards.
In this role, you will assist with daily HR operations, including onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for employees. You will manage employee data and respond to inquiries via phone or email, providing timely and accurate information. You will offer HR-related advice and support to managers, particularly in addressing labor issues and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with attendance management, leave and absence tracking, and payroll adjustments. You will be expected to propose and implement continuous improvements to HR processes and employee experiences, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Coupang offers a direct contract with a probation period, allowing you to demonstrate your capabilities and fit within the company.
