What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, your role will be pivotal in designing and developing user interface components and shaping the ever-growing front-end architecture by collaborating closely with the Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Designers, and other Mobile Engineers.

Your responsibilities will include implementing responsive and intuitive user interfaces, working closely with designers to bring their concepts to life, and optimising the performance and usability of our front-end applications.

You will actively participate in code reviews, contribute to the selection and adoption of new technologies, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience. Your expertise in mobile, front-end development and UI/UX best practices will play a crucial role in fostering a user-centric approach.

What We Look For

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in React, React Native, Jest, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Experience state management libraries like Redux and side-effect management libraries such as Redux-Saga.
• Previous experience with testing frameworks like Jest and/or automation testing tools such as Detox, Appium or Maestro.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android native development, understanding complex flows and a good grasp of WebSockets would be highly beneficial.
• Experience with identifying, investigating, and resolving performance bottlenecks is a plus.
• Strong interest and passion for delivering high-quality code in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with cross-functional teams.
