Datadog is seeking an Engineering Manager for their Security Incident Response team to lead and mentor engineers in enhancing incident response capabilities. This role emphasizes building tools and automation for efficiency and requires strong leadership skills.
You have a proven track record in engineering management, ideally with experience in security incident response or resilience engineering. You understand the importance of building a culture of security and resilience within a team, and you are passionate about mentoring engineers to help them grow in their careers. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at working with cross-functional teams to drive organizational strategy and culture. You are hands-on and enjoy being involved in the technical aspects of incident response, ensuring that your team is well-prepared to handle security-related incidents effectively.
Experience with security tools and incident response frameworks is a plus. Familiarity with automation and efficiency tools will help you streamline processes within your team. You are comfortable with data-driven decision-making and can leverage metrics to measure improvements in incident response capabilities. A background in resilience engineering or related fields will be beneficial in understanding the systemic problems that can arise during security incidents.
As the Engineering Manager for the Security Incident Response team, you will lead a talented group of engineers dedicated to enhancing Datadog's incident response capabilities.
