Acquia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop high-quality server-side code, including APIs and microservices. You'll work with technologies like Drupal and contribute to the technical architecture of the Acquia Digital Experience Platform.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in backend development, and are skilled in designing and developing high-quality server-side code. Your expertise includes working with APIs and microservices, and you have a strong understanding of system architecture and performance optimization. You are comfortable performing code reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of robust software solutions. You thrive in a remote work environment and are adept at managing your time effectively while contributing to team goals.
You have experience with open-source technologies, particularly Drupal, and understand how to leverage it to create engaging digital experiences. Your background includes working with customer data and engagement platforms, and you are familiar with the latest technologies in big data and machine learning. You are passionate about creating solutions that enhance customer engagement and drive business success.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with agile development methodologies. You are a proactive communicator who enjoys sharing knowledge and mentoring junior engineers. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of the business.
In this role, you will design and develop high-quality server-side code that powers the Acquia Digital Experience Platform. You will be responsible for creating APIs and microservices that enable marketers, developers, and IT operations teams to deliver exceptional digital products and services. You will contribute to the technical architecture of the platform, ensuring scalability and performance while adhering to best practices in software development.
You will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and helping to maintain high coding standards across the team. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your work will directly impact the success of our customers, as you help them engage their audiences and enhance conversions through innovative digital solutions.
