Temporary Senior Analyst (Indirect Tax)

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and ideally hold a CPA or a Master's Degree in Accounting or Tax. Your experience includes managing tax compliance and accounting functions, particularly in the area of Sales and Use Tax across multiple jurisdictions. You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing a detailed tax filing calendar to ensure all jurisdictional deadlines are met. You have experience with tax software such as Vertex, Avalara, or Netsuite, which enhances your ability to perform hands-on preparation and review of compliance filings. You value diversity and understand that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the daily US Sales and Use Tax function, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will prepare and review monthly and quarterly US Sales and Use Tax returns, coordinating with third-party service providers for data exchange and timely remittance of tax payments. You will actively participate in system testing and audit support, ensuring that all processes are efficient and compliant. Your role will require you to work up to 40 hours per week in a remote capacity, allowing you to manage your time effectively while contributing to the team's success.
