Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product design, particularly in complex systems, and you thrive in environments where you can own large problem spaces from start to finish. Your ability to lead through influence and craft is evident in your past work, where you've shaped not just individual features but also foundational systems that enhance user experiences. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience, to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also functional and user-centric. You understand the nuances of enterprise-grade workflows and how to design them to meet the needs of diverse users. Your portfolio showcases a range of projects that highlight your design thinking and problem-solving skills, demonstrating your ability to tackle challenging design problems effectively.

Desirable

Experience in incentive compensation management or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with design systems and patterns that can scale across products. You are proficient in Figma and other design tools, allowing you to create high-fidelity prototypes and collaborate seamlessly with developers and stakeholders. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences that drive engagement and satisfaction.

What you'll do

As a Staff Product Designer at CaptivateIQ, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Incentive Compensation Management platform. You will lead design efforts across significant product areas, ensuring that the user experience is cohesive and aligned with our business goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to understand the needs and pain points of our customers, translating insights into design solutions that enhance usability and engagement. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define the design vision and ensure that it is executed effectively throughout the development process. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining design documentation, including style guides and design systems, to ensure consistency across our products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence product strategy and contribute to the overall direction of the company. You will mentor junior designers and provide guidance on best practices, fostering a culture of design excellence within the team. Your work will directly impact how our customers manage and trust their compensation logic, ultimately helping them stay motivated and confident in how they get paid.

What we offer

We provide competitive compensation and benefits, including flexible work arrangements that allow you to balance your professional and personal life. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about solving complex problems in sales performance management. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — your unique perspective could be just what we need to drive innovation and success at CaptivateIQ.
