Engineering Manager

Are you an experienced Engineering Manager looking for your next challenge? DAZN is seeking a talented and motivated individual to lead our engineering team. You will be responsible for managing two teams of engineers, driving the development of our platforms, and ensuring that our technology meets the needs of our growing customer base.

As Engineering Manager, your role is to oversee two teams of talented engineers and ensure that the development process runs smoothly. You will work closely with product managers, delivery, your manager, and other stakeholders to prioritise development initiatives and deliver high-quality software.  

You will support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, as well as providing guidance and support to your existing team. You will work with individual engineers to set goals, provide feedback, and ensure that they have the resources they need to succeed.  

You will help foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within your team. This includes encouraging your team to experiment with new technologies and approaches, sharing best practices and lessons learned, and promoting a culture of learning and growth.  

You’ll have the option to join your team developing code or leave it entirely to them. You’ll be expected to learn an in-depth understanding of your teams’ services to represent the team in larger engineering or product discussions, optimizing the teams’ time and reducing their context switching.
