You have extensive knowledge and experience in KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD, AML/FT, and Sanctions' regulations, particularly within the LATAM crypto markets. You are a risk-minded problem solver who can advise regional business on the company's regulatory obligations and enterprise risk. Your background includes implementing and maintaining robust compliance policies, procedures, controls, and frameworks in alignment with global standards. You thrive in environments where compliance is paramount and understand the nuances of the crypto industry. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills that allow you to assess risks effectively. You are also a strong communicator, capable of conveying complex compliance concepts to various stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures across LATAM, ensuring they align with the Global Compliance Standard. You will work closely with regional teams to advise on regulatory obligations and enterprise risk management. Your responsibilities will include conducting compliance audits, monitoring compliance with regulations, and providing training to staff on compliance matters. You will also be responsible for staying updated on regulatory changes and assessing their impact on the organization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help develop strategies to mitigate compliance risks and enhance the company's compliance posture. You will lead initiatives to improve compliance processes and ensure that the organization meets its regulatory obligations effectively.
