You are an entry-level Data Scientist with a foundational understanding of data analysis and modeling. You have experience with SQL and Python, and you are eager to apply your skills in a healthcare context. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Market P&L, Tech, and Legal, to drive insights that inform business decisions. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data. You understand the importance of healthcare reimbursement and are motivated to learn more about the industry. You thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility.
Experience with data visualization tools and familiarity with healthcare data would be a plus. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in statistics or a related field would also be beneficial.
As a Data Scientist I at Oscar, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines that support the analysis of medical costs across Oscar's networks. Oscar offers a competitive salary range of $119,200 to $156,450 per year, along with comprehensive employee benefits.
