Principal Product Manager – NDR Sensors (Engine & Application Integrations)

Who you are

You have over 8 years of product management experience, particularly in the cybersecurity domain, where you've successfully driven product roadmaps and strategic initiatives. Your deep understanding of network security fundamentals, including packet analysis and threat detection, allows you to make informed decisions that enhance product offerings. You are well-versed in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and you understand how to leverage these tools to build scalable and efficient solutions. Your experience with cross-functional teams has equipped you with the skills to collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams, ensuring that product development aligns with market needs and customer expectations.

You possess a strong analytical mindset, enabling you to define and track key performance metrics that guide product development and assess success. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders makes you an effective advocate for your product vision. You thrive in environments that require both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and you are passionate about creating solutions that address real-world cybersecurity challenges.

Desirable

Experience with open-source innovations like Zeek, Suricata, and YARA is a plus, as it aligns with Corelight's mission to transform network footprints into actionable insights. Familiarity with the modern Security Operations Center (SOC) ecosystem will further enhance your ability to integrate Corelight's products with existing security tools.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of Corelight's NDR sensor platform, focusing on enhancing engine capabilities and ensuring seamless application integrations. You will define and execute product roadmaps that prioritize sensor intelligence and containerized architectures, working closely with engineering teams to bring these initiatives to life. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to understand customer needs, analyzing market trends to identify opportunities for innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product goals.

You will also be responsible for defining success metrics for your products, tracking performance, and iterating on features based on user feedback and data analysis. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on product development and gather insights that inform future enhancements. You will play a key role in shaping the product vision and ensuring that Corelight remains at the forefront of cybersecurity solutions.
