Tanium is seeking a Senior Director of Sales Development to build and scale a world-class program for developing the next generation of Sellers. This strategic role requires expertise in sales development processes and leadership experience in a B2B technology environment.
You have a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales development organizations in a B2B technology environment — your experience includes leading multi-region teams and first-line managers. You possess deep expertise in inbound and outbound processes, modern prospecting, and opportunity qualifications, which allows you to drive alignment with regional sales, channel, and marketing leadership effectively.
As a forward-thinking, data-driven leader, you understand the importance of delivering scalable, repeatable results across all aspects of the Sales Development function. You are skilled in recruiting, training, coaching, and growing a distributed Sales Development organization across North America and EMEA, ensuring that your team is aligned with global sales and marketing strategies.
You thrive in strategic leadership roles, where you can define and execute a bold, forward-thinking global sales development strategy that aligns with company growth objectives. Your ability to develop and execute a global Sales Development strategy ensures that regional execution supports the global mission, making you an invaluable asset to the organization.
Experience in a technology-driven environment is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest sales development tools and methodologies. You are comfortable working with data and analytics to inform your decisions and drive performance improvements across your team.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling a world-class Sales Development program that develops Tanium’s next generation of Sellers. You will lead Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Senior SDRs, and SDR Managers, driving alignment with regional sales, channel, and marketing leadership. Your strategic leadership will define and execute a global sales development strategy that aligns with company growth objectives.
You will oversee a distributed team of Sales Development Managers and Representatives across multiple regions, driving pipeline generation and optimizing lead qualification. Your leadership will ensure that your team delivers predictable performance and scalable results across all aspects of the Sales Development function.
You will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure that the Sales Development strategy is aligned with the overall corporate objectives. Your ability to coach and mentor your team will be crucial in fostering a high-performing culture that encourages growth and success.
