You have a strong background in aerospace engineering, particularly in certification processes and systems integration. With at least 5 years of experience, you understand the complexities involved in ensuring that every system on a rocket is capable of achieving its objectives. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you thrive in environments where innovation is key. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, and your communication skills allow you to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
Experience with rocket systems or aerospace projects is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in seeking solutions and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all aspects of the certification process are meticulously handled.
As a Senior Certification Engineer at Relativity, you will play a crucial role in the Integrated Performance team, overseeing the holistic view of how the Terran R rocket comes together. You will ensure that every system on the vehicle and ground meets the ambitious objectives set forth by the company. Your responsibilities will include conducting reliability analyses, trajectory design, and aerodynamics assessments. You will collaborate closely with propulsion, manufacturing, and avionics teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
You will also be involved in developing and implementing certification plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Your work will directly impact the success of the Terran R rocket, and you will have the opportunity to leave your mark on the product, process, and culture at Relativity.
