AppDirect is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a team of developers in enhancing their subscription platform. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, along with experience in guiding teams on architecture and process improvements.
You have a strong background in software development and team leadership, with experience managing a team of developers. You excel in analytical thinking and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively support and guide your team. You are adept at identifying opportunities for improvement in tools and processes, particularly through the use of AI, aiming for measurable ROI and increased efficiency. You are comfortable conducting one-on-one meetings with developers, focusing on mentoring and career development.
In this role, you will lead a self-sufficient team of 6 to 9 developers, including a dedicated product manager and UX team support. Your daily responsibilities will involve overseeing the design, enhancement, and maintenance of existing features for the Tackle applications and Tackle for Salesforce. You will promote processes, architectures, and tools that maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the team. You will also collaborate with teams located in various regions, including the United States, India, and Argentina, which requires a good command of English.
