Amazon is hiring a Business Development Representative focused on the Financial Services & Insurance sector. You'll advise customers on leveraging AWS technology to drive their success. This role requires experience in the FSI industry and knowledge of cloud technologies.
You have experience in the Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) industry and possess expert knowledge of financial services applications and infrastructure. You understand the transformational value that cloud technologies can bring to businesses and are passionate about helping customers adopt these solutions. You are a proactive communicator who can engage with clients effectively, understanding their needs and providing them with the best possible service. You have a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that customer feedback is integrated into the go-to-market strategy. Your analytical skills allow you to assess market trends and customer requirements, enabling you to drive adoption of AWS cloud services.

Experience in sales or business development roles within the technology sector is a plus. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and AWS services will help you excel in this position. In this role, you will serve as a core member of the Worldwide Financial Services team, playing a key role in executing our go-to-market strategy. You will engage with FSI customers to understand their unique challenges and advise them on how to best adopt and leverage the value of AWS technology. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
You will conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the FSI sector, using this information to inform your sales strategy. You will also participate in customer meetings and presentations, showcasing the benefits of AWS services and how they can help clients achieve their business objectives. Your role will involve tracking and reporting on sales metrics, ensuring that you meet or exceed your targets.
You will work closely with marketing teams to develop campaigns that resonate with FSI customers, helping to drive awareness and adoption of AWS services. Additionally, you will provide feedback to product teams based on customer interactions, contributing to the continuous improvement of AWS offerings.
