Overview

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Fleet Decision Intelligence to lead complex projects in data analytics and supply chain applications. You'll utilize skills in SQL, data visualization, and machine learning. This role requires 2+ years of program management experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program management. Your background includes working in a data analytics development environment, particularly with supply chain applications throughout the full project life-cycle. You are skilled in database querying using SQL and have experience in data visualization, as well as leading analytics automation initiatives. With a preferred 5 years of experience in technical program management, you possess a strong understanding of database querying, data visualization, and analytics automation. You have also managed cross-functional or cross-team projects for at least 2 years, and you are familiar with Data Center Technology or the Supply Chain Space. Your experience extends to monitoring and analysis tools, and you have worked with statistics and machine learning techniques such as clustering and supervised learning.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, utilizing your technical expertise. You will collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across the company. You will be comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives while discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Your role will involve partnering with functional Supply Chain teams to define data analytics requirements and owning the technical execution, including visualizations and scripting within an Agile framework. You will manage the development of dashboards, data pipelines, and decision-support systems, including what-if analysis and models, to enhance the responsiveness and efficiency of Google’s infrastructure.
