Amazon is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative to provide first aid treatment and manage health and safety in the Fulfillment Center. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze safety issues.
You are an organized individual with a strong focus on safety and health in the workplace. As an Onsite Medical Representative, you will provide first aid treatment to injured employees and maintain all records of treatment given to associates. You understand the importance of maintaining first-aid kits and ensuring that all supplies are stocked and equipment is clean. You are comfortable training managers and associates on health and safety protocols, and you can effectively communicate during daily stand-up meetings. You are committed to maintaining associate confidentiality and ensuring controlled access to the AmCare room.
Experience in a medical or first aid role is a plus, as is familiarity with workplace safety regulations. You may have a background in occupational health or emergency response, which will help you excel in this position.
In this role, you will serve as the medical representative for your assigned site, managing the AmCare room and attending to occupational health prevention and medical emergency cases. You will provide triage and first aid treatment, and if necessary, refer employees to outside medical providers. You will also be responsible for maintaining records of treatment and providing daily activity logs to the leadership team. Your role will involve analyzing incidents on a monthly basis to identify potential safety issues and implementing wellness programs to promote health at the site. You will rotate shifts as required, ensuring that medical support is available at all times.
