Overview

Hootsuite is seeking an Account Executive for Enterprise Sales to develop and close new business with enterprise customers. You'll navigate the full sales cycle and build relationships with senior executives. This role is remote and open to applicants in Canada and the USA.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You excel at building relationships with C-suite and senior executives, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex sales cycles from opportunity creation to closing. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to present the value of solutions effectively to prospective customers. You are self-motivated and take ownership of your sales pipeline, consistently generating outbound leads and opportunities. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.

Desirable

Experience in social media management or related industries is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting techniques will help you succeed in this role. You are data-driven and can leverage insights to inform your sales strategies. A background in technology sales or SaaS is advantageous, as it aligns with Hootsuite's offerings.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring new enterprise-sized business customers within landmark industries. You will develop and execute strategies to identify and generate new sales opportunities, ensuring you meet or exceed your quarterly targets. You will engage in high-impact conversations with senior executives, aligning Hootsuite's solutions with their business priorities. Your role will involve navigating the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to negotiation and closing deals. You will also be expected to accurately forecast sales activity and revenue attainment, providing insights to your manager on your progress.
