Senior Product Manager - FX and Remittance

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in financial services or payment systems. You possess a deep understanding of foreign exchange products and the needs of merchants in Southeast Asia. Your strong systems thinking allows you to navigate complex product requirements and communicate effectively across engineering, finance, compliance, and operations teams. You are adept at setting product strategy and have a proven track record of delivering features that meet customer needs. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to drive product success.

Experience in the payments industry or with financial technology products is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in Southeast Asia will help you navigate the complexities of the market. You are data-driven and have experience using analytics to inform product decisions. A background in user research and customer feedback collection will enhance your ability to understand and meet customer needs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end cross-currency foreign exchange stack at Xendit. Your initial focus will be on Southeast Asia, where you will set the strategy for foreign exchange products and enhance the merchant experience. You will work closely with customers to understand their FX needs and build solutions that meet those needs effectively. You will discover, scope, and ship new features that improve the foreign exchange experience for merchants. Collaboration with engineering teams will be crucial as you translate customer requirements into actionable product features. You will also manage pricing and rates, ensuring that guardrails and policies are in place to mitigate exposure and risks. Your role will involve working with Treasury on liquidity management policies to ensure sufficient liquidity to support customer needs and commercial performance. You will be responsible for communicating product updates and strategies to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment and understanding of product goals.
