What you'll do

As a Mechanical Engineer focused on Equipment Design Reliability, you will own the design and improvement plans for production equipment. You will define and develop reliability programs that include preventive maintenance tasks and the selection of critical spare parts. Your role will involve integrating existing equipment into SpaceX's IoT systems to enable real-time performance monitoring. You will design and integrate new sensors onto machines to set predictive and condition-based monitoring triggers. You will work closely with machine operators and maintenance technicians to ensure that equipment is maintained effectively and efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and availability of critical production assets, helping SpaceX meet the growing demands of the space industry.
