Overview

SpaceX is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (Fluid Systems) to oversee the manufacturing of fluid systems hardware for launch vehicles and spacecraft. You'll drive process improvements and ensure safety and reliability in production. This role requires expertise in AutoCAD and project management.

You have a background in manufacturing engineering with a focus on fluid systems, ideally with experience in high-volume production environments. You understand the complexities of manufacturing processes and are skilled in applying methodologies to improve efficiency and quality. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you thrive in collaborative settings where you can work closely with design and production teams to achieve common goals.

You are familiar with process improvement tools such as value stream mapping and visual management, and you have a track record of successfully implementing corrective actions for quality issues. Your ability to manage projects effectively while communicating timelines and expectations is a key strength. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and reliability in all manufacturing operations.

Desirable

Experience with aerospace manufacturing or similar industries is a plus. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to fluid systems will help you excel in this role. What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Engineer for Fluid Systems at SpaceX, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes of fluid systems hardware that are critical to our launch vehicles and spacecraft.
