Google is seeking a Data Scientist for their Enterprise Platform team to provide quantitative support and insights. You'll work with Python, R, and SQL to analyze data and inform product strategies. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in data analysis.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or Economics, and you have at least 2 years of experience in data analysis applications. Your expertise includes extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, and solving complex business problems. You are proficient in coding with Python, R, and SQL, and if you have a Master's degree, you bring an additional year of experience to the table. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with partners across the organization to provide data-driven insights that guide decision-making.
You are a data enthusiast who enjoys weaving stories from numbers, making critical recommendations based on your analyses. Your ability to communicate findings effectively to team leaders and stakeholders is one of your key strengths. You are comfortable managing your workload according to team priorities and timelines, ensuring that you meet deadlines while addressing technical challenges with guidance from your managers.
A Master's degree in a related quantitative field is preferred, along with 3 years of work experience in analysis applications. Experience in the tech industry, particularly in platforms like DV360 and SA360, would be a significant advantage. You are familiar with market understanding and strategic perspectives, which help you provide valuable insights to your partners.
As a Data Scientist at Google, you will play a crucial role in the Enterprise Platform team, focusing on accelerating the growth and market leadership of Enterprise Buying Platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to answer critical business questions and deliver actionable insights that inform product and commercial strategies. You will collaborate with engineers and product managers, providing quantitative support that enhances decision-making processes.
You will plan out analyses methodically, breaking down broader tasks into manageable components while anticipating complexities and blockers.
