You have a strong background in software engineering with hands-on experience in C++ development — you are comfortable working with modern C++ standards such as C++11/14/17 or later. Your expertise spans both Windows and Linux platforms, allowing you to design and implement robust software components effectively.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working within a talented team — your ability to engage in research and rapid prototyping ensures that innovative solutions are validated and implemented efficiently. You understand the importance of cybersecurity in critical infrastructure and are motivated to contribute to solutions that protect complex networks.
You possess a problem-solving mindset and are eager to tackle challenges in the cybersecurity domain — your experience in developing software for demanding environments, particularly in critical infrastructure, positions you well for this role. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards in your work.
Experience with cybersecurity solutions or critical infrastructure environments is a plus — familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements will enhance your contributions to the team. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies will be beneficial as you engage in innovative projects.
As a Software Engineer at OPSWAT, you will be responsible for the core development of the MetaDefender product — your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining software components that ensure secure data flow from removable media devices into organizational networks. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to enhance the product's capabilities and performance.
You will engage in research and rapid prototyping to explore innovative solutions — your contributions will help validate new ideas and technologies that can be integrated into the MetaDefender platform. You will also participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
