Tanium is seeking a Regional Vice President to lead a team of Account Executives and drive revenue growth. You'll develop and execute customer acquisition strategies while overseeing enterprise accounts in a remote capacity from Germany.
You are a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets. With extensive experience in managing teams, you understand the nuances of leading Account Executives and fostering a high-performance culture. You possess strong strategic thinking skills, enabling you to develop actionable sales plans tailored to regional accounts. Your ability to mentor and coach your team is paramount, as you believe in nurturing talent and providing opportunities for growth. You are adept at building relationships with enterprise clients and have a keen understanding of the sales process from acquisition to closure.
Experience in the technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with channel partnerships and strategic sales initiatives. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to achieve corporate objectives. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to facilitate meetings and discussions effectively.
As the Regional Vice President of Sales at Tanium, you will take charge of developing and executing a robust customer acquisition strategy aimed at generating significant annual growth in revenue and bookings. You will personally oversee the sales efforts for regional enterprise accounts, ensuring that your team is equipped with the right tools and strategies to succeed. Your role will involve collaborating with the Tanium Partner and Channel resources to create actionable strategic sales plans for each named account. You will maintain a comprehensive understanding of all key regional contractual obligations, facilitating customer meetings and communications regarding deliverables as necessary.
You will conduct weekly forecast meetings with your regional team, providing coaching on strategies to drive closure and improve performance. Reporting on regional sales activity and forecasts to sales leadership will be a critical part of your responsibilities. You will oversee a sales team consisting of Directors of Strategic Accounts and Enterprise Account Managers, guiding them to deliver technology solutions that meet customer needs while achieving or exceeding their assigned revenue targets. Your ongoing mentorship and development of the sales team will include recruiting, hiring, and training new Account Executives, ensuring they have the support and resources needed to thrive in their roles.
