Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) is a global retail organization dedicated to revolutionizing the grocery shopping experience through enhanced efficiency, quality, and affordability. We support Whole Foods Market and other grocery initiatives across Amazon. The successful candidate will join a dynamic merchandising team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement. We are seeking an Associate Billing Analyst to provide administrative and analytical support within our Merchandising vertical. This role combines billing administration, data analysis, and stakeholder management to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.

What You'll Do

* Execute standard data and situational analysis
* Review and process invoices and payments
* Monitor supplier balances and handle discrepancies
* Create documentation for cross-functional teams
* Identify process improvements and implement solutions
* Support internal and external audits



Key job responsibilities
* Lead billing support operations and validate accurate processing of billing files
* Research and resolve billing discrepancies with Marketing and Promo teams
* Provide supplier support for invoice-related inquiries and investigations
* Conduct data audits and create monthly aging files
* Generate and review regular and ad-hoc reports
* Support Category Merchants and Marketing Team members
* Train and mentor new team members
* Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and business partners
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
* Problem-solving and analytical thinking
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Process improvement mindset- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing
- Experience analyzing data to make business decisions- Experience using very large datasets
- Knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and entries
- Experience presenting data to stakeholders to drive results and meet SLAs
- Experience with Alteryx and Everclear
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Strong customer service orientation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
